I called 5 days after submitting online application. They told me to go to a hiring fair the following Monday. I went and was interviewed by a manager from a different Starbucks. He asked questions like Why Starbucks? Where do you see yourself in five years? How will Starbucks help you achieve that? Tell me a time in which you failed to meet someone's expectations, How have you helped youself get better? Do you go to Starbucks regularly?
Most of the questions scenario questions about your previous job. Since this is my first job he told me to apply them to school, community service, etc. He said he liked me and was excited but being the first interview of the day he told me I should call him in a couple days.
I will find out if i got the job on Wednesday.

Easy interview process; under 30 minutes; they ask about pervious work experiences. They also ask questions like: if you can remember a time you went above and beyond at your previous job.

ok it was fine, the employer was friendly and asked easy questions, they did not call me back though. that is i think a problem with the company. every thing else was pretty ok.

Casual, inside the cafe during normal business hours. The manager let me pick a drink of my choice on the house which was nice. Interview questions were situation based and most were customer service based to see what you have done in the past to go above and beyond for a customer, or asking you to tell about a time you managed a stressful situations in a calm and timely manner.
