Writing this for future candidates so that they don’t have to go through the same unprofessionalism and lack of transparency and integrity. I had a lengthy interview process that spanned almost a whole month and spoke to various people. Towards the end, they even made me meet with HR as well to discuss the final checklist of background check, references, etc. I was told that’s I’d receive a final call for an offer the next week, and when I followed up, they flat out told me that they decided they were moving in another direction and rejected an offer. To string someone along and gaslight them into thinking they got a position is on another level of cruel and un necessary. The company and some of its employees really need to take an ethics and morality class to keep up with the times - maybe even throw in some honesty trainings as well. I totally dodged a bullet with this one, but I hope people expect little to nothing when interviewing here, such a disappointment of a company in the corporate field.
