I was called by a Robert Half Technology recruiter to schedule an in person interview after I submitted my resume on their website in late October 2013. I scheduled an interview for early November 2013 at their downtown Washington, DC office. After I interviewed with one of their recruiters, I filled out a small amount of paperwork, and over the course of the past three months I had been informed about several job positions that they submitted me for to different clients. As it turns out, they bold faced lied to me about submitting me to any job positions at all! I am incredibly disappointed with this pathetic place! In addition, the job positions that they post on their website are mostly executive, senior, or managerial level meaning that there are no real "entry-level" or "mid-level" jobs. In addition, a few weeks ago I contacted another one of their recruiters about a job posting on their website, and the recruiter told me that she did not know if the client was still seeking candidates because the client was pushing off phone screens. This was not true either because if the client was intending to push off phone screens, the position would never have been posted on the Robert-Half Technology website in the first place unless they were intentionally misleading job-seekers with a false advertised job position.
So the bottom line is this, if you are looking to change careers or even get any job in Information Technology, please stay away from this job placement agency!
