Applied online for contract position. Was contacted the next day via phone call. She went over the details of the position and company and said the manager was very impressed with my resume and really wanted to meet. Scheduled virtual interview with the company and everything went well. I reached out to the recruiter to let her know how the interview went. She said she would be in touch once she talks with the manager. I didn’t hear back for about a week or so, so I followed up with an email. Never heard back.

Pre-interview was straightforward. They asked me for my pay range, my educational background and then a couple of months later I was matched with a potential job. The vagueness to the employers lack of clear defining duties made it difficult to gauge whether the employer knew what they were even looking for. But I was happy for a call back either way. Passive job searches help you understand the labour market.

Two managers at the company interviewed me, they asked basic questions pertaining to my background, experience. Very communicative throughout the process. Would love to work with them if I get a chance in the future
