America's Top Recruiting Company Needs to Practice What They Preach
Resume was already on file with RHI as I was registered with the recruiting division.
Large corporation with good physical working environment in a nice location of the East Bay, (San Ramon, CA). The initial walk up to the building will make you think "this is will be a nice place to work".
Interview was for a position within RHI corporate. Not as a contractor. So, I was meeting with RHI HR and the department supervisor. Both were very nice and easy to be with. I felt that my interview went very well with both of them. We even were at the point of discussing the "when you are here" questions. I left the interview very confident that I would be chosen for the position. But, I was also informed that there were a couple additional candidates that they needed to see, and a decision would be made in one week. After a very confident interview, there was absolutely NO communication from RHI. No email, no phone call, no letter of "thanks but no thanks". . . I called the HR department contact and asked if they could please give me a status of the position. She promised me that either the HR manager or the supervisor I interviewed with, would get back with me. . . Again, NOTHING. . .In my opinion, this is truly setting a terrible example of what RHI has told me is completely unacceptable conduct for a company. I have been registered as a contractor with RHI for a couple years, so I hear from the recruiters what to "watch out for" when interviewing with other companies. This inappropriate lack of communication is what they tell me "sets the example of what to expect from that company". . OK, so now I know how RHI is as a company.
