J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez RBC (Toronto, ON) en oct. 2011
Entretien
The interview process was very light. I was hired into a graduate rotational program. Initial interview was a 30min HR and 30min programming. HR was pretty easy, I was open and honest about my learning and working style. Programming was pretty easy - some easy lab questions from first year. Final round was full day style. There was a case study and 2 45 minute interviews for technical questions. I was asked to write hello world and talk about some networks courses I took. It was a bit of a joke.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
The most challenging aspect was the case study as most technical people don't have experience in it. It was a test to see how much information you can digest in a short amount of time while working alongside a group. It also tested how you perform in a group dynamic and whether or not you take the lead.

Very relaxed, felt like I was having a nice formal conversation. Offered me beverages and tried to make me feel as home as possible. My interview only took about 30 to 40 minutes, with a few technical questions that I was unable to give concrete answers to.

The interview was with the Engineering Manager. Mostly questions about past projects and course work, career goals and some behavioural questions (time management etc). Overall good experience, I could have prepared better since I wasn't expecting a technical component to the interview. They said they will get back to me within 2 weeks
