      Entretien

After my online application (and online tests) I was invited to the telephone Interview stage. The interviewer was very friendly but at times sounded impatient which is i found a massive downside to a telephone interview (as I start interpreting his voice in absence of body lagnguage). Do not be discouraged or intimidated by that. Stay positive, because that will be reflected in your own voice. Questions are not difficult (especially because they can be found all over different forums), but you need to keep your answer slick. Get to the point without leaving crucial information out, and don't forget to talk about a "Solution/Conclusion". What did you learn/do after you situation? The interviewer asked one question per competency and asked me about details on my answers. I didn't answer one of the questions really well, and in another one my answer was fairly long so he interrupted me. I thought it didn't go particularly well but I got through to the AC. Hope everything goes well for you too. =)

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

Here re the questions I prepared for. The ones wih the stars are the ones I actually got asked. They will start off by giving you a short brief on how the telephone interview is going to run i.e. that they'll assess you based on PwC's professional framework. Whole Leadership: *Tell me about a time where you actively sought personal feedback? *What did you learn from this feedback? Tell me about a time when you raised your concern to your colleague or to a manager Tell me a time when you raised a concern with a colleague for inappropriate behaviour. Business Acumen: *Tell me about a Business story you are following up. What do you know about the role you applied for. *What do you know about the programme you applied for. How did you find out about what your role is about and what the training is like. How you keep track of business issues? What can you learn from this? Technical Abilities: Describe a time when I deal with different projects *When have I worked on a number of different projects at the same time and how did I manage that? A time when you have to complete different projects to meet a deadline? Tell me a time when you had to deal with a complex problem. A time when you use your analytical skills to solve a complex problem? (use different pieces of information) Global Acumen: Describe a time when I actively sought different perspectives. Tell me a time when you sought different perspectives in order to achieve a goal *Describe a time when you had to perform with little guidance or no guidance from a supervisor Relationships: Tell me about a time when you establish relationship with people outside your usual network. How did you maintain your relationship. Tell me a time when you made and maintained useful contact outside of work and school. A time when you maintain useful contact outside of your university or work? Other questions: When have I worked with a group which has had opposing views? When have I had to change the way in which I do something? When have I had to work with someone who has had a different way of working to me?
