I joined the Firm years ago, prior to the merger of PriceWaterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand. The hiring and interview process at both firms was fair and realistic, and I actually received offers from both of those earlier Firms. I could not realistically comment on the hiring and interview process for the current combined Firm.

I don't recall anything either difficult or unexpected at either PriceWaterhouse or Coopers & Lybrand, and again could not comment now on what is expected or asked.
Quick process - had a screening call with HR before being scheduled an interview with the reporting manager a week later. Interviewed in the morning was sent an offer by the end of the same day.
First there was a Virtual interview, then on site interview. They ask about my skills and why I would like to work at PwC, and why choosing me. And the problems that I faced with working with a team.

The first interview was conducted well. The 2nd was all over the place the comptencey questions were not in line with values. I felt like some questions didn't match and the answers I prepared did not fit in. It was confusing and the questions were not clear at all.
