I was contacted for a phone screen with a member of PlayStation's HR team. After coordinating a time to chat, I spoke with them for about 45 minutes and answered exactly zero questions about myself and my background. The entire conversation was about the job, the team I would working with, and the HR person's thoughts of how Covid has affected the company's in-office policies. I was not asked about my qualifications, experience or interest in the job. The next day, or day after that, I received an email saying they had decided to hire a candidate they had a previous relationship with. No additional feedback given.
