The recruiter forgot about our interview twice. Then she randomly called me four days after and did not acknowledge or apologized for missing the scheduled call interview twice. When she called randomly I decided to take the call and just went with it. I did not feel like she cared about finding the right candidate. Did not enjoy the conversation or interview experience.

The interview was simple and straightforward but I was ghosted by the recruiter who did not respond to my attempts to contact him after the interview. Rejecting candidates is part of the job as a recruiter and they should grow up and learn how to deliver a rejection with class.
We’d like to learn more about your interview experience. I applied online and was invited to interview for the role straight away, though the recruiter's earliest availability for a phone screen was a full week+ away (understandable). Where I began to get frustrated, is when my confirmed, scheduled, interview time came, I was completely stood up with no explanation or even attempt at contact. Simply no call or way to get in touch with the recruiter. After about 15min I sent a polite email asking if now was still a good time as well as an invitation to reschedule that would work better, and also called to leave a voicemail for the recruiter through the PayCom main contact number. Close of business that day, I still had received no contact or explanation from the team or organization. (somewhat understandable - people can get busy). Then, about 24 hours from the scheduled call, and still with out any explanation, apology, or even contact from the team, I received an auto-rejection letter. Whaa?
Please note I was also fully qualified for this job and looking forward to the opportunity to learn more. That being said, I am shocked and the lack of professionalism in this brief interview process. At least it is clear to me now that this organization is not a place I want to be. Thank you for confirming this so early on!

A recruiter reached out to me via LinkedIn. I had a call with her and while she sounded like she was reading off a script, she let me know how my background could be a potential fit and I moved onto the next round, a 1:1 interview over webcam. THat interview went great, and then shortly after I was scheduled for a third and final webcam interview. This one was a little more difficult, but it ended with the interviewer seeming "shocked" I was applying to this kind of role...when the recruiter had reached out to me originally, and I thought I did great in the second round. Ultimately, after waiting over 2 weeks, I never heard back again. I followed up with the recruiter but still got no reply. I would have just liked a yes or no answer. Being left hanging like that was very disheartening and unprofessional for a seemingly great company up to that point.
