Straightforward process but could keep the candidate engaged a bit more. Typically 2-3 should be enough to for a Sales position and also not every person will know the complete stack of what's being sold. As long as they have a good understanding, are motivated and have the values, drive, passion then that should be a good start. The product can be thought.
