I attended the Job Fair on September 24, 2015 at the Nordstrom Fulfillment Center in San Bernardino California off the 15 freeway. I applied online before attending, but your suppose to apply online and then they'll call you for a phone interview, if your application passes. If you pass the phone interview process you'll get a 2nd face to face interview with one of the department leads or human resources. Most of them are very friendly! After the interview I recieved an email 2 hours later saying they want to further the process with me. And submitted a background check. Which 1 week later I recieved conformation that I passed the background check and recieved the job with Nordstrom! I was very excited, now I'm a 2nd shift picker, it's ALOT of walking, but the people are amazing.

It was a 15-day process, of a virtual interview, a warehouse walkthrough, and then a background check - Very LENGTHY, so be dedicated/prepared for that. If you have pretty much next to anything negative on your background check, just be aware that a "pre-adverse action" letter may be coming at the 2 to 2 1/2 week point; sucks to invest that much time/effort/energy in applying, just to have a background issue sink the whole thing.

Entretien
After applying it took about 2 weeks for someone to reach out. I got an email inviting me to a digital interview through HireVue. The interview consisted of 5 written / multiple choice questions and 3 video recorded questions and those were "what would you do in this situation" type questions. A recruiter then reached out to me to talk about which shift I would prefer (their pre-selected shift options) and if I would like to do a group tour. Before doing the tour I was advised to actively participate in the tour and ask questions. The same day a recruiter called me to offer me the position.
