Entretien
I submitted an online application, as well as following up with a resume drop off in-store. I was called in for a one-on-one interview with a sales manager a couple days after submitting the resumes. I was given a time and arrived early to wait on line with several other young female candidates. My interview did not begin until 45 minutes after the scheduled time. It lasted 15 minutes. The manager seemed to be going through the motions and trying to make her way through the laundry list of interviews as quickly as possible. Standard form interview procedure of unoriginal questions about myself and my school/work experiences, mostly prompted from what appeared to be her first reading of my resume.

At the end of the "humoring" review and affected discussion of my resume, I was asked why a person with my level of education with a degree from a college well known for its exclusivity of aptitude and challenging degree programs (obviously, more brusquely put than this, i think it was more like, "someone who went to a smart school") wanted a "job at a mall?" Not only was the delivery of her quick, astute summary of my resume unexpected, so was the suddenly subjective turn in questioning, and thus the inherent risk therein of an explanatory, comprehensive answer...
It was a good interview experience. The managers were straight forward and nice throughout the whole process. The questions were directly related to the role. They were transparent about the role and expectations.

Entretien
it was a really chill and easy interview, the manager was very warm and friendly and none of the questions were too difficult. there was a sale practice section where you have to pretend to sell an item to a customer, but it wasn't too difficult and the manager gave me some guidance and clarification on the practice scenarios. other questions included things along the lines of how you deal with competition, conflict, unhappy customers, teamwork, as well as availability
mock sale questions: what features of this item would you point out to the customer? what concerns or hesitations might the customer have about this item and how would you help them decide? after the customer decides they want the item, how would you close the sale?

Extremely easy. I looked the part and got the job. My manager called me the same day to welcome me to the team. They like for their employees to have their own personal style that’s appropriate and makes others want to buy.
