J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Microsoft en févr. 2009
Entretien
There were two rounds of interview as a college grad. Round 1 was a 30 minute on campus interview. Round 2 was flying out to Microsoft headquarters for a full day of interviews. The full day was back to back interviews -- I met with probably 5 people, each in a 1:1 situation. Program Manager interviews are divided into 3 sections: 1) design 2) behavioral 3) problem-solving. Each interview was composed of all 3 sections.

You are at the southwest corner of a city. The city streets are laid out in a simple grid fashion, with 8 streets running north-south and 8 running east-west. If you can only travel northward and eastward, how many different routes can you take to arrive at the northeast corner of the city?

Not a great experience with interviews taking 1 month to complete. Despite ongoing communication, the role did not move forward, reportedly due to approval constraints. The overall experience highlights a gap in aligning internal approvals before progressing candidates to advanced stages.
Clearer communication and better alignment internally would improve the candidate experience

The interview process is grueling and I get why people do it but its more awareness, know that you'll spend an entire day and meet several people, so it's important to be mentally and physically prepared. Eat a good breakfast but not heavy stay hydrated. This was just for a PM role it's their standard process I imagine executive level is another thing altogether

Question 1
Tell me about a time you didn't agree with someone who was a stakeholder on your project and how did you handle that?
Very smooth, thoughtful interview process. It showed the recruiter really cared what I had to contribute and asked great followup clarifying questions. Would definitely recommend everyone try an interview with them even if it doesn't pan out.
