The hiring manager reached out via email to set up an "initial chat" 3 weeks later. The "initial chat" itself was a 30 minute virtual meeting over teams video, very casual, just giving them my background and talking about the position with some questions about my reason for applying and plans for the future. They told me they'd contact me, but I never heard back from them.
