The recruiter who contacted me for the FP&A Senior Manager position based out of Reston, VA was incompetent and couldn’t comprehend the concept of transferable skills. This recruiter could only understand black and white terminologies. If you don’t use the word, FP&A, then you’re not qualified. It seemed like they hired someone as a recruiter who was a career lifer from the SAIC days who became a part of Leidos from the company split and who has been in the same position for over 20 years with the same company. This recruiter could not see the world through multiple lenses; they shouldn’t be a part of “Leidos,” which was coined from kaleidoscope. This is also a new role for a team that was acquired through a merger so it will be a chaotic show.
