It was a medium level experience. There were scripting questions followed by questions on VLSI circuit phenomena. Questions about DRC,LVS checks followed by questions on validation. Questions about CMOS circuit operation.

Four rounds of technical questions plus one lunch interview with hiring manager that is behavioral in nature. The interview process was pretty straightforward and not very stressful. If you do get stuck, just do not give up. Usually they will give you a hint or two. Pay attention and run with this! They really do want you do well.

Question 1
For experienced candidate, the behavioral is pretty trivial. Just be yourself. Mostly questions like tell me about a time when... and how did you improve xyz, etc. Easy stuff if you have some mileage on the tires. The technical questions for the other rounds are specific to the area you are interviewing for. For Logic CAD, expect to code some verilog, design a state machine, maybe a coding question or three, and of course digital logic questions. Just brush up on some python/perl, digital logic design, parsing log files and writing glue logic in scripts.
