Applied through company website for the position, received an email from one of the team members, then had a skype interview with that team member and his manager. They asked me about my PhD research and we discussed what is shared between my research and the work they are doing at IBM.
The interview process was professional and structured, with clear communication throughout. Questions focused on relevant experience, problem solving, and culture fit. Overall, the experience was straightforward and respectful from start to finish.
2 on site interviews but this was before COVID. Lots of disorganization getting them scheduled and had to meet with lots of people for two days both times. Went out to dinner with a few members of the team the first night also
Done virtually over multiple days. Started off with a phone call with a few team members, gave an hour long research seminar, then met with three more groups. Topics range from your own projects, AI knowledge, Python/data science
