The interview question are more about what you have done in your previous work rather than get you to the white board and let you solve a problem in 5 minutes. So if your background match their requirement in general the interview process is not hard

one guy asked me very textbook style question, such as what is the relation between material bandgap and refractive index. I have completely no idea
Got the interview through connections. Interview process consisted of on site seminar of PhD work and 1:1 interviews. The process was well organized and not difficult or intimidating, everyone was nice to talk to.

Entretien
long, difficult, and unnecessary. Unenjoyable, didn't want the job afterwards. The process took forever to hear back from them and overall was unimpressed. I ended up looking for work elsewhere instead because of how terrible the process was.
