First I completed my application and submitted it on the website. Two days later I received an invitation to do a digital interview through HireVue. You use a computer, tablet, or phone with a camera to do this. I used my iPad. You are asked some questions which should highlight your experience and you have 2 minutes to answer. For some questions I felt that I had to speak very fast because I didn't think I could get everything in, in two minutes. There were some video questions that asked you about booking a room for a specific person and what rate would you choose. You're given choices and have to justify the reason you chose that rate. That part made me a little nervous because I don't know if they are looking for one correct answer, or just our ability to explain why we chose it. Once the video questions were complete, there were a few multiple choice questions about computer knowledge. It's been a week, so now I'm just waiting. Most say it takes about two to three weeks to hear something so I'm nervously and patiently waiting. I'll update as soon as I hear a yes or no.

First applied online then asked to do a virtual interview within one day of applying. I completed the virtual interview which included both a video skype type question and answer phase (which were pre-recorded questions), and then basic questions you had to choose multiple choice answers for. Within a week I was asked to do a second virtual live interview with a recruiter. The live virtual interview was very nerve wracking for me, but the interviewer put me at ease right away. It was a strange experience for me because I never interviewed this way before, but once I got used to it I was totally comfortable. There were no surprise questions just basic questions you get in any interview like what you would do in certain situations etc. I think the key to getting a second interview is remember it's a sales position so be sure to focus on sales as well as good customer service. Another thing is to be upbeat and positive.
