J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez General Motors (GM) (Tallahassee, FL) en sept. 2015
Entretien
I met with GM at a campus career fair and one week later I was sent an email with an interview time - no option to change it. It was an on-campus interview and after the first hour-long interview I was asked to stay for a second one that was also an hour long. They asked very typical questions - mainly behavioral - and was weirdly asked the definition of inner and outer joins. I haven't taken a database class in two years so I could not give textbook definition and he said that was okay. Overall it wasn't a bad experience.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time that you had to backup and go a different direction because the first solution did not work?
Took the OA, then had three interviews (coding, debugging, behavior), then technical/behavior
Each interview was around 45 minutes. The coding interview had two medium difficulty questions. Then, I read through a file for debugging. The final interview was with the hiring manager.

The interview process consisted primarily of behavioral questions focused on past experiences, teamwork, conflict resolution, and problem-solving. Interviewers were friendly and professional, and the process felt conversational. Be prepared to discuss your background and provide examples using the STAR method.
