J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez GEICO (Woodbury, NY) en juin 2012

Have to first do a multi-tasking test. Fairly simple test, no way to prepare for it. Next was an interview with HR. Typical interview. Few behavior questions. Why you want to work with Geico, future goals, research done into company (like financials). Also asked about other jobs I applied for. If you applied for jobs in other fields, you will get question on that.
Initial phone screen by recruiter and hiring manager. Both of them were very professional. Gave me a take home test that I completed on time. Got update from the recruiter that they are reviewing. Followed by a rejection email after couple weeks.

Applied online, got a response from the recruiter after 2 weeks. After talking to the recruiter another week to schedule Job Fit round with the Senior Manager. The manager couldn't look less enthusiastic, whole interview was looking down (probably at my resume that he saw the first time during the call). Asked me a bunch of behavioral questions straight out of the book. Probably didn't even listen to my responses as he had no follow up questions. Next day I got a rejection email, no feedback. Very unprofessional place.

One of the worst recruiting experiences I’ve ever had. I was contacted by a recruiter, Monica Snyder, who told me the hiring manager had viewed my LinkedIn profile and wanted to speak with me about an opportunity. I was genuinely excited about the role and spent time researching both the position and the company to prepare for the first-round interview.
However, my interview was canceled at the last minute because the hiring manager had already found another candidate. I was surprised and disappointed, especially since it was never communicated that candidates were already in the final stages of the process.
What made the experience even more frustrating was being told not to “waste everyone’s time because everyone is busy.” Respectfully, I also invested my own time preparing for the interview — and I wasn’t even the one who applied for the role in the first place.
Overall, the process felt unprofessional and inconsiderate of a candidate’s time and effort.
