J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 5 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez GEICO (Fredericksburg, VA) en août 2016
Entretien
I applied online 7/27 had a phone interview the next day. These were the questions they asked:
Why did you leave this position at XYZ?
If we were to contact your most recent employer, what will they say about you showing up on time?
Are there any days you are not available? ( If you really want it say 'none')
A few more general questions the call only lasted 8 minutes.
After the call, I received an email to have an in-person interview. Which was 5 days after I had applied. When I went in there, there were already two women, waiting. We were moved into a room with 6 computers three on one side and the rest on the other. In the middle of our "test" we were interrupted by another group of three coming in to take the exam. Which further distracted me and lead to me doing poorly. ( Well so I think)
The exam:
1st shift: had a headset on and received fake phone calls and emails from customers.
2nd part: typing test
* repeat these two one more time ( Test took 45 minutes)
Normally, I type 62WPM but on this test I only typed two sentences! The woman next to me typed really quickly and made me even more nervous. I honestly think I did bad, but it seems like they don't take it to much to account, the writing part. The other part I did really well.
The second phase was another interview, then that interviewer will take you into a small room. Call you on the phone for mock phone calls (about 3). You get a stack of 4 pages that you have to learn in 20 minutes and then answer the phone calls regarding the fake company.
Finally, they take you upstairs to seat with an actual representative. Then they can come get you for a final interview. I was actually having so much fun with the representative that when they came to get me I was really confused. The last interview went great talk about how your experiences have lead up to this and you will be offered a position right on the spot!
Honestly, I went in thinking that I would not get it. Everyone around me seemed more qualified. The test made me more upset because I thought any second now I will be sent home. After the test I just started to have fun and I think thats what they saw. Have FUN and they will see your potential, honestly it was not that bad but I wowed them with my experince and personality.
It also took 4 hours, so make sure you plan for that! Then you get a drug test (offsite) which was a hair drug test. They lady who cut my hair said Geico is hiring a lot, and that she had already done 3 other people that day.

There are two rounds. The first round is virtual and they ask about your background and if you can handle the process. For the second-round, You will shadow someone for 20 minutes then proceed for a 40 minute interview. There are a lot of situational questions.

It was a weird process, first it was on zoom and my interviewer told me to turn off my camera because of the bandwidth issues. Then she asked three questions and provided me the job description and the hours. She then asked me if I was looking for other work and If I was currently working. I did tell her that I am currently working and she told me that I have enough time to provide my current job a two weeks notice. After the interview she told me that she was going to endorse my application for review. Then she sent me another email saying that “Your recruiter will be in touch with you for next steps”. Then in the middle of night not even 24 hrs, I get a generic email saying that I was passed on. I wanted to find out why did I get an email saying that a recruiter was going to contact me, then I passed on from someone else. This was a customer service position and during the interview she told me that I have a lot of experience. I just didn’t like during that interview I was given false hope. I would not recommend applying to this company.
