This was one of the worst interview processes of my life. The process took 1 month in total. There were 4 rounds plus 2 cognitive ability online evaluations. 1. Recruiter Call 2. Hiring Manager a. Cognitive Evaluations 3. Panel Interview w/ Team 4. Executive Manager During the 2nd round interview, I waited for 30 min and contacted them twice, before they realized they were in the wrong waiting room. After that round, I was asked to complete two online cognitive evaluations (50 min each). They lost my test results and had me complete both evaluations again. The third round was a panel interview, which went well. The last round was with a manager who asked opinion-based questions (e.g. what is my favorite show) and then proceeded to explain how wrong my answer was. There were multiple red flags, from the unprofessionalism, lack of organization, loss of test scores (DISH is not a competitive enough company to require this), strict work-in-office policy (even mentioned if they caught me not helping others when my work is done that I'd be reprimanded), no opportunity for growth (only wanted to hire one person to establish, run, and conduct all responsibilities of the department but only give them a level II title and pay and would not be hiring additional personnel), and lack of diversity in employees (in the 4 interviews no women were ever present). However, the final straw was when they mentioned they had the final say in where I could live because it had to be compatible with their services. This is a very outdated company that prides itself on being a Boys Club.
