Start with a Group interview then one on ones with a hiring manager. The process was very streamlined and quick but it takes time to move from one interview to the next.

I wish I’d read the reviews before applying here. This company uses the Work Opportunity Tax Credit, which means they get a tax break from the IRS for hiring individuals with a background like mine. I was upfront about my record from the start, and I brought solid references and over six years of customer service experience to the table. My initial virtual interview went well—the interviewer was enthusiastic and asked me to bring three resumes to the next meeting, which I did. At the in-person interview, the interviewer didn’t even take the resumes, saying they already had my information online. The day after, I received an offer letter, which I signed, and they soon asked me to leave a Glassdoor review, which felt odd. They then ran a background check, and I was open about my record from the start, even providing letters from my church Bishop and employment specialist as references. After a month of waiting and reaching out to their recruiter, they finally responded, saying they couldn’t move forward due to my background, despite my transparency throughout the process. I’m in school, working toward my bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, and determined to move forward regardless. Not all of us felons can become president, but we do deserve a fair shot.
