Entretien
Pretty straightforward process. You are given the possibility to select few dates and after that it was pretty slick.
I've talked to the hiring manager, one colleague and the HR manager.
The technical interview was interesting and I had a good chat about my past experience and what I knew about them, etc.
The tech part wasn't too tough, as I had specific experience in the field with similar companies/competitors.
I thought it all went ok.
When I talked to the hiring manager I've explained my current situation.
Then, they went completely silent, never reached out to me again, nor sent an email saying I wasn't successful or anything.
I thought the tech interviews went fine (also because I had 10+ years experience with similar/competitive vendors).
It was pretty disappointing being ghosted this way from a company I considered pretty good.
In the end, looking at the bright side, I managed to find a better offer, but still I was left a bit bitter but the outcome.
I was expecting at least a nice rejection mail instead of nothing.

Question 1
Pretty standard questions around OSI stack, protocols (HTTP, DNS and encryption).
Got contacted by recruiter and scheduled a screening call, recruiter was late and the conversation felt really rushed however she was helpful explaining the role and interview process they follow where after the interview with the hiring manager I would have a take home exercise.
She said that would send me an interview with the hiring manager but then the system didn't had any slots, eventually slots were available 3 weeks later, finally on the scheduled slot the hiring manager didn't show up for the interview.
After a few hours they sent an apology about a scheduling conflict. As I felt the company was a bit chaotic decided to stop pursuing the position.

The interview process consisted of several steps. It started with an informal conversation with the hiring manager, followed by a meeting with the lead recruiter to discuss the role and salary expectations. After that, there was a technical interview, then a panel interview where I demo'd one of their products. The final stages included a conversation with a director and then a meeting with someone from the C-suite.

What interests you in Cloudflare? Brag on yourself and tell what you've done in your career. What do you know about DDOS, WAF, ZTNA.
Applied with a referral. I was ghosted after recruiter stage. Recruiters can take 1 second to reject and auto-send the email. I wouldn't mind if it wasnt with a referral but they should have at least some decency for their own colleagues.
