Applied through the website, got an email nearly 2 weeks later scheduling the first phone interview with HR. The interview comprised of a couple of reasons why I wanted to do Data Science. Then, there was a short case study on the pros and cons of Agents model and Merchants model. Essentially, I felt that the HR wanted me to get there and really guided me to the answer that she was looking for. It was a pleasant conversation. I got invited to the 2nd phone interview with the analytics team, which was again a pleasant interview. But, it seems that in business cases there are indeed right and wrong answers, and they also kept pushing me to that supposed right answer - which mostly involves A/B testing. We got to it, but had to end abruptly because they assigned only 30 minutes to the whole interview that also included a few vague questions about how I applied Data Science principles in my work (and then asked for the model, and the journey to finding that model).
Anyway, it was still nice and interesting, but I got rejected because they said that I don't have the greatest of business senses (not surprising since I have only been in academia all my life). It seemed to me that they are mostly looking business analytics more than data analytics, because both cases were business cases and not really data analytics cases.

Interview process was solid and relevant. There were three rounds: one technical, one business case directly tied to the role, and one focused on company alignment. Most rounds included case studies, which tested problem solving approach along with technical knowledge. The conversations were clear and to the point. Main focus was on how you approach problems and whether that fits with the company values. Reading about the values and culture beforehand is important
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Follow up questions from case study, questions about experimentation
30 mins phone screen with recruiter, next round will be with 2 data scientists and discuss on a business case. Seems like they did have some opinion on that question, it was not like a open discussion.

I talked with manager and recruiter. Some questions about personality and some about technical skills. Some were more difficult then others. The people were quitte nice. But a lot of competition
