Group activity then 2 role playing scenarios! For interview process that has potential it was a negative experience!
Basically the role playing activity gives current booking.com employees to have a go at acting and Create an unrealistic work environment due to overplaying their role.
For example one scenario was 121 with a disgruntled employee acted out by one of they’re staff whilst you conduct the 121! In this situation they were impossible and played the difficult employee so much that even open questions were answered with single word answers from start to finish! It was so unnatural but I guess the staff have fun playing they’re part.
I have been in interviews and conducted interviews for global companies and never experienced something like this!
Judging by a lot of the reviews booking.com have serious recruitment issues, especially in management and I can now see why.
Lots of potential there but they will need to rethink the process and keep employee egos in check.

The interview was exciting and in a relaxed setting. The Managers were nice and made you feel welcome. I was there for 2 hours and we covered a test, role play and the interview

Question 1
how would you manage a team member who was not working towards the set KPI's
Muy lento y demasiada burocracia, los procesos son muy lentos. No vale para nada lo bien que hagas la entrevista o no. 3 entrevistas antes de la final. Poca informacion.

Recruitment phone screening plus 2 interview rounds with the hiring manager, department manager and other team leads. Topics covered: motivation, knowledge about the company, understansing of the role, expectations for the role vs my experience and quite a lot of situational/behavioral questions. Overall an open and positive vibe. Also, the interviewers were very engaged and followed up on my answers. I also enjoyed the questions as they were in-depth and related to the position.
