I have received 2 phone pre-interviews with Best Buy, in both interviews I was asked the exact same questions. The second call the recruiter didn't keep appointment I had to track her down.
They asked How would I drive profits, a time when I approached a difficult situation and a time I coached someone.

It was pretty straightforward. Asked about my background and my skill set. Asked about examples of success in my previous position. I was able to ask follow-up questions as well.
I initiated the process with an online application. This led to a 20 minute phone screening with very few open-ended questions. This led to an in-person interview that was about 45 minutes.

The process was thorough, although that is to be expected with a position like this. I got to the Third stage and had three different interviewees. One with the Hr rep, one with a hiring coordinator and the third with the district manager.
