Well I applied online and I got a call less than a week later. Apparently I passed the online test of course. then she ask me about my availability, how interested I was in working in Best Buy, and she set up the interview 3 days from that day. I prepared myself a whole lot. you have to take into account I have been wanting to work here for at least 6 years. mostly my application never gave me the opportunity to have start the interview process. So my first advice, be smart about it! learn which are the most common questions, what are they looking for, and set up yourself for them to give you a call. Getting a call back from them means you past the test and probably you have the minimum 6 months of work experience. Anyways I then had my 2nd interview and I gave good answers. Word of advice, keep it normal, casual, and honest. Don't give them fabricated cheesy answers and try to sell yourself!!! I've blown interviews before because of this. Dress your best!! don't be fooled by how they dressed in polos and that you want to match that. Any interview dress professional!! you have to stand out of the crowd!! another word of advice, when you are in the 1 to 1 interview, be present!!! I cannot stress enough. Don't think about how you are going to fail the interview, how stressed you are, how you didnt prepare, seize the moment. concentrate on what they are asking, listen, and answer the question!!! yes, again, answer the question!! use common sense, logic, and reason. Again give a normal answer and that means, a normal, common sense, logical, good answer. Anyways, after the interview the manager scheduled me for a final interview with the GM and made sign the background check papers.
