Fake interviews for fake jobs. Beware Atlassian Australia is currently interviewing applicants with no intentions to hire anyone. It is a scheme run by internal Atlassian recruiters to justify their existence. Those jobs don't actually exists and you have no chance of getting an offer no matter how good you are during the interview. I answered all questions correctly but was later on given feedback claiming that I shouldn't have added one particular item to my solution that supposedly "was not asked for and created unnecessary complexity". Except that I never mentioned that item during the interview (I'm not even familiar with that concept in the first place) Don't waste your time. I prepared every night for a week for that interview, learnt too late from a friend of mine who works at Atlassian that the job was fake. (Sadly he wasn't available for a chat prior to the interview otherwise he would have told me to not even bother)
