I have no idea how an actual interview at Atlassian is, since every time I applied I have received a generic email saying my application was not successful. Plus, the recruiting software blocked me from ever applying again at this company. As soon as I submit any application it is immediately archived, which seems pretty odd as I never spoke to anyone at the company and my skills are a pretty solid match to the position requirements. I even contacted a recruiter for some feedback but was never contacted back. I guess that unless you know someone internally there is no chance to ever getting interviewed by Atlassian. Pretty damn awful, if you ask me.

After your resume passed through the filters and got the attention it deserves, you will receive an email to plan a phone interview with the recruiter that last no more than 20 min. This interview is done through Skype and is quite informal, just to get an idea of who you are and what you want. The second step was a phone interview with the program manager, which is based in San Francisco. There you will be asked to talk about your professional experiences in an informal manner. The last step is an assignment to do at home.
