Applied as an external hire and worked with a recruiter. Two months after an online assessment, I was contacted for an interview. Their veterans program was helpful in explaining the interview format and what interviewers expected.
Interview was two back to back virtual interviews that lasted about 30 minutes to an hour each. Both asked two or three scenario based questions about applying Amazon's leadership principles; answers are to be given in their STAR format (situation, task, action, result). The first was with a new HR rep who asked questions and recorded the answers without giving much feedback. The second was with an Operations Manager who asked follow up questions and offered helpful feedback - they were great at helping me refine my answers and steer me towards the "right" answer. End of the interview allowed me to ask some basic questions about the role and expectations.
Three days after the interview I was offered the job. Total process was lengthy but overall a good experience that will depend largely on your recruiter and who you draw for the interview.

In interviewed today. Still waiting for any response. This was the loop. 3 people 45 mins each. 2 ops managers 1 HR person. all one ops manager was L6 the other L7 and HR also L6. This was after a personality behavior online test and a ops calculation based test. and each introduced themselves and added a bit about their personal self too. Asked my intro as well. questions were from LP perspective - a time when you made a decision or took a step without asking your manager and then the follow ups. A time when you tried to introduce something and faced resistance and then the follow ups. A time when you took actions to support the development of a team members goals. What was the action. A time when you promised a deadline but could not deliver, what did you do. Employee development - what did you invest in and why?..

3 45 min interview with operation manager, Hr manger and Senior operations manager. Ask behavioral questions. Be sure to use star method and show your leadership and ability to adapt
Good because the interviewer was polite and understanding, the interview was long but did not feel it so much. Preparing is a must in order to pass the interview. I was interviewed with more than one person which was a little stressful but it went fine
