Interviewed for a Sr Data Engineer position in Toronto with Amazon Advertising Canada Inc. Had multiple interviews. Initial tech screen followed by intensive 2 day final round consisting of 6 interviews. One of the worst experiences I have ever had. Made all the worse by needing to take 2 days off work to do the interview. I required disability accommodations, the process is supposed to be a dialogue. They were unresponsive, then finally responded with poorly thought out accommodations the day before the interview and rebuffed my reply asking to discuss them. I had a python interview that really tested data analysis type questions in Pandas. This is not my background and not a skill that was on the job description. I haven't used pandas since university. I specifically asked before hand if I needed to brush up on Pandas and was told no. In my system design interview, my interviewer continually interrupted my explanations. While I expect to have a dialogue, he would not let me get more then a few words in. I would estimate I spoke for about 10 of the 60 minute interviewer. Pretty much answered the questions himself.

Amazon interviews consist of two types of questions: 1) Behavioral Questions based on the Amazon Leadership Principles (LPs) 2) Technical and Functional Questions based on the qualifications of the job.
