J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Amazon (Austin, TX) en juin 2021
Entretien
This interview process was held during the pandemic era (online completely).
Initially I was reached out to by a recruiter for a position in my area. I had applied to a couple other positions online, but I was directed to apply to this particular position. It took me being a little more forward with my messages to inform the recruiter that I had a competing offer but really wanted to go through Amazon's interview process. The recruiter did a great job of scheduling my phone interview ASAP (the next 1-2 days).
My phone screen was a typical 2 medium leetcode style questions. I was then approved for the on-site which they were able to schedule 2 days later.
The recruiter before the phone interview and onsite interview sent me over relevant materials to study such as Amazon's LP's.
The virtual onsite interview portion was 4 interviews completed in one day. The initial interview was actually very enjoyable going over a new algorithm and walking through how I would implement it etc. The next 2 interviews were typical leetcode/OOP style questions. The last interview was a systems design question.
The recruiter was very transparent with the time frame and since I was on a tight schedule I would be hearing back the next day. I was given a call the next day being extended an offer and without much time to negotiate etc. I accepted.
Overall,
Initially the conversation was a little slow, but once Amazon understood I was on a tight time frame they did a superb job with speeding up the interview process. It was definitely one of my more enjoyable experiences. Overall the process was about 1 week which I've never experienced at other comparable sized companies.

Recruiter explicitly mentioned that the Technical Phone Screen interview did not contain any Behavioral question but the interviewer definitely asked 3 behavioral questions.
The coding problem was utterly garbage, it was a pretty trivial problem that anyone that knows DFS would be able to solve. That is not appropriate for a SDE 2 role. Not even useful to demonstrate candidate skills
PS: They care a lot more about what you've accomplished than whatever you can accomplish based on your skills
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
1. Tell me about a time when you had to meet a tight deadline
2. Tell me about a time when you had to do more than what you were required to do
3. Tell me about a time where you made a significant impact on a customer

5 rounds of interviews
1. OA (2 Medium Hard Questions along with some Work Related Assessment which tested design related concepts)
2. HLD
3. DSA
4. LLD
5. Bar Raiser
Technically, the questions were of medium difficulty and with good polish, you should be able to solve these questions. The main challenge in Amazon is of the Leadership Principles which involve citing real work experience in the STAR format.
