I interviewed first with the recruiter and then with the hiring manager. It was a very typical behavioral interview, somewhat casual. Everything seemed very positive and upbeat but ultimately I got a form later stating they were not moving forward. No additional feedback given.

After applying, I first got a call from Human Resources to understand my experience and achievements. After the interview, the HR representative was kind enough to guide me on how I need to make my response relevant for the role. The interview with hiring manager was scheduled using Amazon Chime app which was super easy to set up. The interview started and finished absolutely on time. 45 mins in total as scheduled.

I was informed by the hiring manager that they will get back to me with the status. In less than 24 hrs I received the generic regret email. I am happy though that they at least informed me that I haven't been selected instead of leaving me in dark and wondering.
I reached out to HR rep seeking more details on my rejection. They called me and informed the reasons. This is something that none of my past interviewers have done. They either ignore to respond or continue with generic response which doesn't help me improve.
