Interviewed in March 2020. From the start, it was clear that the HR team is not well coordinated. Not sure why they have so many recruiters involved in the hiring process for a company that touts “frugality” as one of its principles. You will find that you have to tell the recruiters the same information over and over. Recruiters are slow to respond to questions, if at all. The on-site prep call with the recruiter is a joke. You will prep better by doing some online research. Onsite interviews handled through the Chime service. Poor quality video made for a poor experience. Maybe a competitor’s product would have worked better. One of the interviewers was clearly distracted and interacted with a family member in the room while candidate was trying to answer a question which was disruptive and rude. Based on what I was told to expect from the company, it is apparent that the environment would be too chaotic for those who are used to a minimum level of organization. Lots of duplication of efforts, like the HR department. Questions asked of the candidate showed they were looking for skills not specifically depicted in the job. Based on a fair number of reviews I have seen, perhaps not receiving an offer was a win after all. Overall, the experience was not well polished.
