Avantages
IN Amdocs you will be involved in the most complicated and highest priority projects that will add a lot of value to your experience and resume. Amdocs solutions are usually the core of its customers business (billing, ordering, etc) therefore the projects involve key roles from both sides (Amdocs and the customer) and expose you to a lot information about the business and IT that you would never be exposed to in smaller lower priority projects.
Inconvénients
It takes time to get use to the Amdocs environment and the different organizations and decision makers as well as company characteristics in order to feel comfortable. I beleive it takes 3-6 months until new comers feel connected and comfortable who is who and how to move things forward.
