Avantages
Amazon is a great place to work in HR if you want to see how this function works on a massive global scale. The pace is very fast, and the work is highly ambiguous, so there is plenty to learn.
Inconvénients
There is a *lot* of change and churn in the HR function. I had 7 different managers by my 2nd anniversary. The HR organization is highly product / process focused, and far less people focused. That may be necessary for scale, but for many in HR, this makes our softer and strategic skills less valuable.
