Shell LNG is honoured to have clinched the 🏆 Deal of the Year at the Marine Fuels 360 Awards held in Singapore. This award recognised the 10-year agreement that Shell had inked with ZIM Integrated Shipping Services in August 2022 to supply 10 of ZIM's containerships 🛳. This deal culminated with the successful bunkering of the containership “ZIM SAMMY OFER” at Kingston last March in collaboration with The Port Authority of Jamaica. It was also the first time a simultaneous operation (SIMOPS) was done with LNG bunkering in Jamaican waters. This agreement ranks as one of the largest long-term LNG bunker supply deals. Deals of this nature allow shipowners to secure long-term fuel sourcing and help suppliers build 💪 confidence in expanding bunkering infrastructure that enable shipping decarbonisation with LNG.
