Captain Meir Dizraeli received the official command nomination from ZIM President & CEO, Eli Glickman, and ZIM COO, David Arbel, at a ceremony held in ZIM HO, before taking command of the good ship ZIM Vancouver. Meir initially joined ZIM as a third mate in 2008. It's worth noting that his father, Itzhak, sailed aboard ZIM ships for many years as a Boatswain until retiring in 2004.
