Our Byhalia MS Factory had the pleasure of hosting a recognition day in honor of our Veteran's. Jeff Backer, TPM Supervisor, commented "Thank you for the lunch, the gift, and the recognition today. If you were to ask any of us, I’m sure that the most common response would be 'Thank you, but we were just doing our job.' At least for me, these moments remind me of all the military personnel and first responders that I hold with such reverence. ROCKWOOL's Canada factory in Milton, Ontario, wins the ‘Large Business of the Year’ award organised by the Milton Chamber of Commerce. ROCKWOOL is an active member of the Milton Chamber of Commerce, which each year, hosts its annual Community Awards Gala where organisations and individuals are recognised for their contributions to the Milton community. This year, ROCKWOOL won the ‘Large Business of the Year’ award. The criteria for the award include businesses that: * are in the private sector * have a brick-and-mortar location in Milton, Ontario * have been in operations for more than three years * employ more than 26 people * have made an outstanding contribution to Milton within the past year.
