Bobby Cathcart’s trucking journey began in 1973 after his service in Vietnam. He became a Quality Carriers driver over 21 years ago and has been based at Terminal 174 in Memphis, TN, for the past 15 years. He currently operates as a company driver on a local dedicated run. Throughout his career, Bobby has cherished the camaraderie among fellow drivers. He fondly recalls a memorable four hour conversation with Corey Andrews from Terminal 866 in Trenton, MI, back in 2010. Even today, Bobby remains a go-to resource for drivers seeking advice and assistance. Laurie Green, Operations Manager, commends Bobby's 15 years of service, describing him as "a pleasure to work with and a very humble and knowledgeable driver." Bobby's safety tip for drivers emphasizes the importance of preparation and communication when visiting new customers. He advises, "if you haven't been to a customer before, make sure you have all the necessary information before unloading. Ask about the tank routing upon arrival to ensure you're unloading in the correct tank." Please join us in congratulating Bobby Cathcart on receiving the Million Mile Safe Driver Award and recognizing his unwavering commitment to safety.

Tony Rios from Terminal 121 in Calvert City, KY started his driving career in the Summer of 2007. At first, he considered it to be just a job, but everything changed when he joined Quality Carriers in November 2009. Tony began as an affiliate driver in Calvert City, KY and soon turned his job into a thriving career. He’s been driving dedicated runs from Calvert City to Virginia for the same customer for the past seven years. Over the years, Tony has worn many hats; he was an affiliate driver, a company driver, he joined the QC Lease Purchase program and in 2022, he became an Independent Contractor. One of his proudest moments at Quality Carriers so far was being invited to join the inaugural IC Advisory Panel in Tampa. It was an incredible honor for Tony to meet with leaders and share his experiences. Tony recently achieved a staggering milestone when he was awarded the Million Mile Safe Driver Award. It’s amazing for Tony to think about what it truly means to have driven over a million miles, something he didn’t think was achievable. Tony’s top safety tip is "Slow down and take a breath. In this fast-paced industry, a moment of pause can make all the difference." Let’s celebrate Tony’s journey and his valuable advice!

Meet David Faulkner from Terminal 151 in Augusta, GA. After working at the papermill, David took a leap of faith into the trucking industry, driven by his passion for big rigs he went and got his CDL. David would see Quality Carriers trucks around town and talked to a few truck drivers while he was driving over-the-road for another tanker company to learn more. David joined Quality Carriers over a year ago, thanks to a recommendation from a dispatcher he worked with in the past. David enjoys both over-the-road and local lanes, appreciating the variety of opportunities available. His top safety tip? “Be thorough with inspections. Don’t rush, and if you’re unsure, ask for clarification before proceeding.” Recently, one of our valued customers praised David for his exceptional performance. Thank you, David, for your dedication and hard work at Quality Carriers!
