Our Ohio General Manager, Shane Walters, recently met with the administrator of Greene County’s Veterans Affairs office in Waynesburg, PA. The Wheeling office has proudly operated billboards in Greene County for 15 years! During the visit, the team shared how Lamar makes an impact, both through its advertising services and as an employer. Resources were also provided with information on how to explore career opportunities and apply to Lamar. This meeting highlights Lamar’s commitment to supporting local communities!
“Lamar of Montana has three offices across the state (Billings, Great Falls and Missoula), which makes it tough for all of us to connect on a regular basis. Traditional Christmas parties are tricky to plan with our lovely Montana winter weather, so we decided to start a new tradition of Christmas in July! This year’s celebration was extra special as our Sales Manager was recently promoted to VP/GM of our new Sioux City, IA office, so we were able to do a going-away celebration as well. We kicked things off at the Billings Mustangs baseball game, where we reserved some tables and welcomed significant others to join us. The next morning, we got into the holiday spirit with our Christmas in July party, complete with festive decorations courtesy of the local Dollar Tree and plenty of Christmas tunes. We wrapped the event with team bonding games that were both fun and a little competitive. Everyone had a blast, and I’m already looking forward to making this our new annual tradition. As part of our sponsorship, we featured Lamar billboards, displayed a banner at the event, and were recognized in the official program. We’re proud to partner with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library as our 2025 in-kind partner! Imagination Library provides free books to children under the age of five. Lamar will contribute over $2 million in Digital Out of Home media throughout the year to help the organization increase donations, reach more children, and continue to spread the love of reading and learning!
