Our Panama City office hosted the 2025-2026 Leadership Bay Class, an elite group of emerging local leaders, for an immersive two-hour look into the world of out-of-home advertising. The visit featured a hands-on "show and tell" from their operations team regarding equipment and safety, followed by an in-depth presentation on creative design and sales. By opening their doors to this community development program, they gained valuable exposure to high-potential local candidates and professional partners they might not have otherwise reached!

Lamar's second class of the Emerging Leaders Program officially wrapped up in late April with a successful Graduation Celebration and Project Presentation Showcase. Throughout the program, participants were challenged to step back and work “on the business” by developing strategic and process improvement initiatives designed to strengthen their teams, operations, and markets. The final presentations were well received, and several project ideas are already being explored and implemented across the organization. We are also excited to share that 25% of this year’s ELP class has already earned promotions since the September 2025 summit. This fast-growing statistic attests to the talent, dedication, and leadership potential within the group. Lamar Advertising Erie spearheaded a partnership with the Erie County Technical School’s graphic design program, hosting over 65 students for a comprehensive look at the billboard process from construction to sales. This hands-on initiative allowed students to present their own work for professional feedback, culminating in a contest where the winning design will be featured on a local digital billboard. By providing real-world industry exposure, the Erie office has strengthened its ties with local educators and established a sustainable pipeline for future creative talent.

Our Q1 Why Lamar Volunteer Award winner, Lamar Advertising of Topeka set a high bar for community engagement through its partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Shawnee County. They created a high-energy, musical "Trunk or Treat" experience for over 200 local children. The team earned perfect scores in Community Impact, Collaboration, and Equity & Accessibility. With a new office recognized each quarter, we look forward to celebrating our next winning office soon!
