Our Panama City office recently hosted the Junior Leadership Bay 11th-grade class for an afternoon of hands-on learning. Students toured the shop, explored equipment with our operations team, and learned about safety and career pathways. They also joined us in the conference room for a deep dive into the OOH industry, creative design, sales, and what it’s like to work at Lamar. This outreach helps us connect with the next generation of talent—students we might not otherwise have the opportunity to reach.
Lamar recently hosted LaMarket, a fun pop-up event where local artists and employees got to showcase their hidden talents, from handmade crafts to unique creations! It was an incredible way to bring our community together and highlight the creativity and passion within our team.

We’re excited to announce the promotion of Michael Gibson to Vice President/General Manager of Lamar, Evansville, Indiana! Mike began his Lamar career in 2001 as an Account Executive in Lexington, KY. Over the years, he’s held several leadership roles, most recently serving as Assistant General Manager of Lexington/East Kentucky. With over 20 years of experience and a proven track record, Mike is well-prepared to lead the Evansville market. Congratulations Mike!
