From first-time donors to seasoned volunteers, each person who participated gave more than just blood—they gave hope. It was all about compassion, community, and courage. Together, we stood in support of local patients—many from underserved communities. A heartfelt shoutout to our NGO partner ConnectLife, whose mission to create a healthier tomorrow resonates deeply with us. And to our 32 volunteers – thank you! 🌍2,500 kilograms of plastic waste. 406 volunteer hours. 58 passionate #SourceOfGood Champions.💚 As part of the Global Earth Day celebrations and the Month of the Ocean in the Philippines, our colleagues from the Taguig and Cebu offices united with a clear purpose: to protect and restore our coastlines in alignment with this year's theme: “Unlock Ocean-Based Solutions to Climate Change: Karagatan ang Solusyon.” From Tanza, Cavite to the vibrant coastlines of Pusok, Lapu-Lapu City, our dedicated volunteers engaged in a significant and massive coastal clean-up initiative. The outcome? Cleaner beaches, heightened awareness, and an enhanced sense of pride in contributing to the health of our planet. This effort extended beyond merely collecting plastic; it was a demonstration of our commitment to the environment, our communities, and future generations. At the ongoing #CCWUKSummit 2025, Srinivasan Subramanian, Partner – CX & Consulting, Firstsource joined Liz Millington, Digital Solutions Director at Ascensos, a Firstsource company, to explore how long-term success in retail CX comes from building integrated, scalable solutions that reach beyond the contact centre. From in-store operations to in-house strategy, transformation must be continuous—not a one-time event. While Liz shared that embedding change requires constant feedback and alignment with stakeholders, Srinivasan built on the thought by sharing how a consultative, insight-led approach helps clients contextualize transformation and create future-fit CX strategies. We're excited for more conversations and collaboration as the Summit continues.
