Last month, we celebrated our team members during Hospital Week. We had an incredible time celebrating our amazing team all week — ending on a high note with Food Truck Friday! From great food to even better company, it was the perfect way to recognize the hard work, compassion and dedication our staff brings each and every day. Thank you to our team for all you do to care for our patients and our community—we’re so grateful for you!
Rylee’s career at BSA began in 2019 as a therapy tech, and she knew she wanted to return as a clinician after earning her degree. Since rejoining the team as an occupational therapist, she’s grown her confidence, leadership, and clinical skills, while doing work that truly matters. She finds purpose in supporting her patients through some of their most challenging moments. “The best part of my day is helping patients move their bodies and adapt to their environments, even when they may be at the lowest point in their lives.” Here, you’re surrounded by a team that lifts one another up and helps patients do the same. We’re bursting with pride as we celebrate our graduate nurses! 🎉 After an incredible journey through the BSA Health System internship — across med-surg, emergency, oncology and more — they are officially joining the BSA family as registered nurses! 💙 And this year, as we proudly mark 125 years of BSA, we honor these bright, compassionate future leaders who will carry on our legacy! ✨ We also want to thank our amazing school partners: Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo, Amarillo College and West Texas A&M University. Welcome to your next adventure! 🚀
Launch Your Nursing Career at BSA! Your nursing career is just beginning. Choose an environment built to help you succeed, with mentorship, growth and a team that makes you feel at home from day one.
From graduate nurse to nurse manager, Jennifer, BSN-RN, has grown her entire career at BSA, and she’s done it by following her passion for caring for surgical patients. Over the years, she’s stepped into several roles, built strong relationships with patients and coworkers, and continued to challenge herself professionally. “Wanting to grow professionally and take on new challenges, I later transferred to nights and served as a shift supervisor for two years. After that, I applied for the nurse manager role on the same unit. It felt like a full-circle moment to step into a leadership role on the unit that shaped my career.” Even in leadership, Jennifer stays closely connected to the ‘why’ behind her work. “The best part of my day is getting the chance to round on patients and interact with them. Even though I’m in a leadership role, those moments remind me why I became a nurse in the first place.” Her journey is one of many examples of how BSA supports growth, encourages advancement and gives nurses the chance to build meaningful careers right here at home.
We’re proud to foster a workplace where people can truly grow. Addison, BSN-RN, has felt that support since joining our team. “The team works hard, but they also look out for one another. It creates an environment where you can ask questions, keep learning, and feel comfortable being part of the team.” That kind of support shows up in real ways every day. “Since joining the BSA team, my career has grown in both skill and confidence. I’ve had the opportunity to take on new challenges, expand my clinical knowledge, and learn from experienced coworkers who are always willing to teach and support. I’ve become more well‑rounded and more sure of my abilities as a professional.”

We’re committed to helping our team members build the careers they’ve always dreamed of. Meet Celine, R.T(R)(M), mammography technologist, whose journey with us is a true example of growth and opportunity. “I began my journey here immediately after graduating college, and since then, I have been given multiple opportunities that have helped me grow as a healthcare professional.” She shares what makes this experience so meaningful. "One of the most rewarding aspects of this growth is the support of the staff. The team truly feels like a family—we learn together, support one another, and consistently lift each other up." From day one, Celine experienced the supportive culture that sets BSA apart. We believe in creating an environment where learning never stops and advancement is always within reach. Whether it’s through hands-on experience, mentorship or continuing education, we make sure our team members have the tools they need to thrive. We’re proud to be part of your career journey.
