Earlier this year, AIR teammates across the country supported our LA area communities following devastating wildfires. When tragedy struck Texas with unprecedented flooding recently, our Los Angeles and Irvine teams knew it was time to pay that support forward. For the third year, our LA-area teammates volunteered with Baby2Baby, a nonprofit providing essentials to children in need. This time, their mission was urgent: assembling relief packages for Texas flood victims. Over 20 teammates came together to pack more than 400 care kits filled with shampoo, conditioner, dental items, body wash, hand sanitizer, deodorant, and handwritten notes of encouragement. They also created 60 kid-focused care kits for children in local shelters and foster care, complete with books, games, stuffed animals, and snacks. “"The LA Team is proud to support Baby2Baby’s mission and look forward to continuing our volunteer work in the future," shared Adam Schultz, SoCal VP of Operations. At AIR, building community means showing up, in times of joy, and in moments of need. Thank you to our LA and Irvine teams for spreading hope, heart, and help from California to Texas. 💙
Big news! 🎉 AIR Communities has been named a 2025 Real Estate Top Workplaces Winner! This recognition means a lot to us because it comes directly from our teammates. The Top Workplaces award is based entirely on teammate feedback and reflects how we feel about our culture, our purpose, and each other. At AIR Communities, we strive to create an environment where people love what they do and feel valued for who they are. Whether it’s collaborating on innovative solutions, giving back to our local neighborhoods, or supporting each other’s growth, we’re proud of the environment we’ve built and continue to shape together. Being named a Top Workplace in Real Estate is more than an honor. It’s a reminder that our values are more than just words on a page. They’re alive in the way we show up every day for our residents, our teammates, and our communities. To everyone at AIR: thank you for making this recognition possible. 🌿 At AIR Communities, career growth doesn’t follow a ladder. It’s a Jungle Gym. 🌿 We believe that success takes different forms for everyone, and internal mobility is one of our strongest values. The Jungle Gym approach means growth isn’t just up. It’s forward, sideways, and sometimes even a full-circle return. Just ask Homero, our new Service Manager at Plantation Gardens in Florida. He started as a Service Technician, bringing with him a rich background, ranging from HVAC work to a law degree and even experience in diesel mechanics on offshore oil platforms in Venezuela. At AIR Communities, Homero found a place to apply his diverse skills, embrace new challenges, and grow into leadership. He first stepped into a Service Manager role at Waterways Village, then returned to lead the team at Plantation Gardens, proving that every move in the Jungle Gym builds strength, purpose, and momentum. “I’ve learned that values like teamwork, cooperation, and attention to detail are key to growing and thriving at this company,” Homero says. We’re proud to support teammates like Homero through new opportunities, meaningful benefits, and a culture that recognizes potential…wherever it may be. 🔧 Ready to climb your own Jungle Gym? Let’s grow together!
🚴♀️ Colorado Bike to Work Day was a ride to remember! 🚴 Recently, some of our AIR Communities teammates in Denver swapped traffic for two wheels and enjoyed a scenic, sustainable commute into the office. With bike paths weaving throughout the Denver metro area, it was the perfect opportunity to take in the fresh air, get active, and kick off the day with energy. AIR Communities believes in promoting wellness and sustainability, not just at home, but also on the way to work. That's why teammates who participated in Bike to Work Day also earned a Live Well incentive, part of our company-wide program that rewards healthy habits and active lifestyles. We're proud of our teammates who pedaled their way into work, and we're always looking for ways to support wellness, reduce our environmental impact, and make our communities even stronger. A big thank you to everyone who participated, whether it was your first time riding in or part of your regular routine; you helped make this day a success. Let's keep the momentum going. Same time next year? #AIRCommunities #BikeToWorkDay #LiveWell #DenverLiving #WellnessAtWork #SustainableCommute #TeamAIR 🚲
Meet the next generation of leaders in multifamily residential real estate! This summer, AIR Communities is thrilled to welcome a dynamic group of interns from across the country. They will be working on exciting projects such as developing marketing campaigns, implementing IT solutions, optimizing operations, and supporting our Shared Service Center. They will be spending the season working alongside our teams and learning what it means to create moments that matter. Our interns, beyond their day-to-day work, will have the chance to connect with AIR’s leadership through a series of engaging lunch-and-learns. These sessions are not just about learning from the best, but also about personal growth and development. They offer a unique opportunity to hear directly from the people shaping the future of AIR and to ask thoughtful questions about what it takes to grow and thrive in this industry. Most recently, our interns had the privilege of meeting Keith Kimmel, AIR’s President of Property Operations, who shared powerful insights about leadership, resilience, and the importance of a work/life balance. We’re so excited to have these bright, driven individuals on board this summer. We can’t wait to see the impact they will make during their time with us, and we are filled with anticipation for the exciting careers that lie ahead for them!
🌿 San Diego Team Prepares Local Park for a Brighter Future 🌿 Building community is what AIR Gives is all about, and our San Diego teammates recently showed up in a big way to support the future of Grant Park in Mission Valley, California. Just 10 minutes from Mariner’s Cove apartments, Grant Park is the site of a future eco-park and education center, and our team is helping lay the groundwork! Together, they removed 135 bags of trash from the riverbank (some by boat!), cleared overgrown vegetation, planted trees and native species, and watered planter beds to help restore the area’s natural beauty. “It was incredible to see the enthusiasm and teamwork from everyone involved,” said AIR Communities’ Southern California Regional Property Manager. “Knowing that our efforts will contribute to a greener, healthier space for Mission Valley fills me with pride.” The day was even more memorable for the Mariner’s Cove Community Manager, Maribel, who celebrated her birthday, complete with a crown, while giving back to the community and the environment. 🎉 💚 Thank you to our San Diego teammates for your hard work, heart, and hands-on commitment to building a better tomorrow.
🎉 At AIR Communities, we believe in creating “sticky” living experiences, and our Resident Events are one way we turn neighbors into a true community. A great example? 21 Fitzsimons and The Fremont in Aurora, CO. Together, these two communities are home to 954 apartment homes and centered around The Central Green, a vibrant hub for connection and activity. From outdoor movies and yoga to live music and themed celebrations, this shared space welcomes residents, local retailers, and community members alike. “The events at The Central Green not only create a fun and welcoming atmosphere, but they also help build a sense of connection among neighbors who might not otherwise cross paths,” shared the Community Manager of both properties. “Especially for new residents, these events are a great way to feel at home.” Fan favorites include the fall season finale with pumpkin carving and a hilarious pet costume contest that always delivers surprises and laughs. Huge thanks to our Marketing and all the on-site teammates who help bring these moments to life. It’s these thoughtful, creative gatherings that embody the AIR Edge, where residents feel at home and community comes naturally. 🏡🧡
What makes AIR Communities such a special place to work isn’t just the buildings we manage…it’s the people who make them feel like home. That’s why we believe in fostering a culture where open and honest feedback is more than encouraged – it’s acted upon. AIR leadership genuinely listens to our teammates, and great ideas are regularly turned into meaningful programs that make a real difference. A recent example is the launch of our AIR Bud program, which pairs every new teammate with a welcoming “AIR Bud” to help them navigate their first days and weeks at AIR Communities, connect to our culture, and feel supported from day one. The program was inspired by feedback from two of our Community Managers, who recognized the importance of connection and community during onboarding. Their insight helped shape the AIR Bud experience, and it’s already making an impact. We’re proud to share that one of their stories was recently featured in an article by Built In Colorado. At AIR, your voice matters, and it’s helping us build a better workplace together.
🐾 At AIR Communities, building community isn’t just something we do—it’s who we are. Recently, our teammates spent the day volunteering at Humane Colorado, an animal shelter in Denver, as part of our AIR Gives program. The team rolled up their sleeves to beautify the grounds, helping with landscaping around the facility to ensure a clean, welcoming space for the animals while they wait for their forever homes. After their hard work, the team at Humane Colorado graciously gave our volunteers a tour of the facility—and the visit ended on a heartwarming note when one of our teammates submitted an adoption application for a kitten onsite! 🐱💛 Through AIR Gives, every AIR teammate receives 15 paid hours annually to support causes they care about, reinforcing our shared commitment to giving back. Our philanthropic spirit also extends to strengthening partnerships with local leaders, nonprofits, and industry allies. Whether we’re supporting our neighbors, creating exceptional living experiences, or helping furry friends find a home, we know that community is at the heart of everything we do.
🚧 Exciting progress is happening at Peachtree Park! 🚧 AIR Communities is thrilled to share an update on the transformative Atlanta BeltLine project near our Peachtree Park community. Construction of the suspension bridge connecting Peachtree Park to the BeltLine is well underway, with completion expected in June 2026. Once finished, this bridge will provide residents with direct access to the 22-mile BeltLine loop—a dynamic network of trails, parks, and cultural destinations that connect some of Atlanta’s most vibrant neighborhoods. This long-anticipated addition will enhance mobility, promote wellness, and bring the best of Atlanta’s outdoor lifestyle right to our residents’ doorstep. We’re proud that this progress was recently featured in Urbanize Atlanta. Click the link to read more about how this milestone is taking shape and what it means for the future of Peachtree Park and the Buckhead area. As this project rounds into form, we’d like to thank all the AIR teammates who continue to champion this incredible effort. Your work is helping us create more connected, active, and engaging communities.
