Jungle Gym Spotlight: Meet Point Bonita's New Community Manager, Alex! At AIR Communities, we like to think of career growth as a Jungle Gym rather than a ladder. Instead of climbing rung by rung in a straight line, a Jungle Gym allows teammates to move sideways, diagonally, or upward…finding new opportunities to stretch, learn, and grow in unexpected ways. Today, we’re celebrating a true Jungle Gym success story: Alex, who has recently moved into a Community Manager role at Point Bonita! Alex began his AIR Communities journey as a Leasing Consultant at Mariner’s Cove in California, later moving to Island Club. Recently, his teammates gave him a heartfelt send-off as he took a leap of faith into his next adventure at Point Bonita, one of the newest communities to join AIR. For Alex, growth comes from stepping outside of your comfort zone. "Don’t be afraid to take that next step or question whether you’re 100% ready," he says. "Growth happens when you stretch and challenge yourself!" That mindset carries beyond his career. A thrill-seeker at heart, Alex’s favorite travel memory is from Santorini, Greece where he went skydiving! Congratulations, Alex! We’re excited to see you soar!

Back-to-school season isn’t just for students anymore. It’s also a great reminder of the connections, traditions, and memories that come from our own school experiences. At AIR Communities, we love finding ways to celebrate these moments together. Our Denver teammates recently came together for a special Mix & Mingle hosted by our talented Accounting team, with a fun college theme to tie into the season. Teammates proudly represented their alma maters by sporting college jerseys and gear, filling the office with school spirit and friendly rivalry. The event featured collegiate-style games, plenty of laughs, and of course, some delicious game-day food. Nothing says “college” quite like chicken wings and good company! These Mix & Mingle events are a tradition at AIR, giving our teams an opportunity to connect beyond day-to-day work, strengthen relationships across departments, and celebrate the unique backgrounds that make us who we are. A huge thank you to our Accounting team for hosting such a spirited event and to all our teammates who joined in to make it a success. Another Summer Celebration is in the books! At AIR Communities, we believe in taking time to connect, celebrate, and create moments that matter together. Our annual Summer Celebration has become a tradition we look forward to every year. This year, we mixed things up and brought the team out to Pindustry in Denver, where teammates, friends, and family gathered for an evening of fun. From delicious food and refreshing beverages to games, laughter, and music, it was the perfect chance to unwind and enjoy the summer sunshine. As the evening set in, we were treated to a beautiful Colorado sunset, a fitting backdrop to a night filled with community and connection. Events like this remind us that AIR Communities is more than just a place to work. It’s a place where people come together, support one another, and share experiences that last well beyond the workday. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and made this year’s celebration special. We are grateful to our teammates and their families who help make AIR such an incredible community.
🎓 $59,500 Awarded. 17 Bright Futures Ahead. 🎓 From first-year college students to soon-to-be graduates, our 2025 AIR Gives Scholars are ready to change the world. We’re proud to be part of their journey. At AIR Communities, we care deeply about our teammates and their families, and we’re proud to support the next generation of leaders, innovators, and change-makers. This year, we are thrilled to award $59,500 in scholarships to 17 outstanding children of AIR teammates who are beginning or continuing their higher education journey. Founded in 2006, the AIR Gives Scholarship Program has awarded an incredible 713 scholarships to date, helping students pursue their dreams at two-year and four-year colleges, vocational programs, and technical schools. Funds can be used for tuition, books, room and board, and other essential expenses, easing the financial burden so students can focus on achieving their goals. Our 2025 scholars come from diverse backgrounds and are pursuing a wide variety of fields. Some are fresh out of high school, excited for their first semester, while others are stepping into their final year of study. Each has a unique story, ambition, and vision for the future.
The 2025 AIR Gives Charity Golf Classic was one for the record books! This year’s 22nd annual event brought AIR Communities teammates, business partners, and sponsors together at the stunning Sanctuary Golf Course in Sedalia, CO, to make a real difference, and they delivered in a big way. Thanks to our event sponsor’s generosity, a staggering $495,500 was raised. This substantial amount will go a long way in supporting veterans, their families, and students in need, benefiting the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS), Project Sanctuary, and the AIR Gives Opportunity Scholarship for students living in affordable housing. Special thanks to Ethan Lively, who took the reins as host for the day, guiding a memorable tournament filled with camaraderie, competition, and community spirit. This year’s success also marks a significant milestone. The Golf Classic has now raised over $8 million since its inception! Our heartfelt thanks go out to our business partners, sponsors, and dedicated AIR teammates who volunteered and participated. Your personal contributions, be it time, energy, or support, have made moments like this possible and have created a lasting impact for those who need it most.

Our incredible team at City Center on 7th near Fort Lauderdale knows how to beat the heat in style while showing off their AIR Spirit. Teammates recently gathered for a refreshing splash in the pool, joined by none other than our Executive Vice President, Kevin Mosher, who wasn’t afraid to dive in and join the fun! 🏊♂️ At AIR, we believe in creating moments that bring people together. AIR Communities believes our teammates bring their whole selves to work, and we celebrate that every chance we get. Recently, many of our Denver-area teammates joined together in our corporate office for a beginner-friendly block printing class. This event highlighted creativity, community, and the joy of learning something new. AIR Teammates designed and carved their own custom stamps, then printed their creations onto tea towels and tote bags to take home. It was hands-on, low-pressure, and all about fun. From intricate florals to bold geometric patterns, every design was unique, just like our teammates. As our Co-President Lisa Cohn often reminds us, AIR teammates are a whole person when they come to work, and opportunities like this give us a chance to connect over what we're passionate about outside of the 9-to-5. Whether you're into art, wellness, volunteering, or simply connecting with others, AIR Communities is a place that makes space for it all.
